Independence Recorder Page
On this page you can find music to play on your recorder,
plus you can listen to the songs.
You can download any of these songs and save them to your computer by right clicking on the name of the file and selecting "Save As". Make sure you choose where you will save the songs on your computer.
You can also print out the songs.
At Independence, we use the "Recorder Karate" method in 4th grade. In Mr. McDade's class, we have added more songs, & changed the belt colors of a couple of songs. Recorder Karate is copyright

Listening
You can listen to the songs - they should open on your computer in either Windows Media Player, Real Player or QuickTime (make sure you have your speakers turned on or your headphones on!). Most of the listening examples play at a slow tempo to help you learn the songs.
